About Me

Hey guys, I’m Veronica, everyone calls me Vero! Welcome to my blog! I’m a stay at home mom, wife, nurturer, caretaker, superwoman, among many other things! 😊 I decided to create a blog in order to provide a comfortable, safe place for other moms to get together and talk about our day to day lives, our challenges, get and give advice and just have a fun space to share cute ideas. I believe that we can come together and help each other out in each of our independent struggles that is life. Come along with me on my journey of motherhood, autoimmune disorder, Autism, Microcephaly, and the joys of marriage!

I have been with my partner in crime since 2009.  When we first met, I never thought we would be together forever. I thought it was just another date. Boy was I taken by surprise! Then again, life loves to throw curve balls at me. He has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Well, after my children that is! I can’t picture life without my partner. Although, like any marriage, we have our ups and downs, but I count my blessings daily and wouldn’t have it any other way.  

My children are 14 (boy), 13 (girl), 9 (girl), and 7 (boy).

Sam is 14. God, time flies! I remember when I was pregnant and planning the baby shower, still feels like yesterday. He is one smart cookie, even though he doesn’t always see it that way. Sam is funny and caring. He just embarked on the journey of “teenagehood”, so God help me!! I feel like he is becoming so independent and does not need his mommy anymore. He’s in that age where he wants his siblings to stay out of his business and respect his privacy… I remember those days all too well. Sam loves animals, which is why he joined the Environmental Academy at school. I am really hoping he will enjoy it! 

Sarah is 13. She is witty, sassy and loves to dance. My baby was born with microcephaly and autism. Life was hard when she was born. We have come across so many obstacles. Luckily, we’ve been blessed with an amazing team of therapists that has made this process easier. I do everything in my power to make sure that Sarah is receiving the best care possible and try to make sure that she still feels normal in the process. Sarah is a fighter, she does her very best every day in anything that we ask! No matter what Sarah encounters, she never gives up and we will always be here to support her. 

Victoria is 9 but thinks she is 15! Can anyone relate? She is definitely going to make me pay for everything I put my mom through! She is feisty, but loving, and her laugh brightens up my day. She loves doing her own makeup and playing dress up. YouTube and Dance Moms are her favorite shows. Looks like we might have a dance team in the making with my girls!

Marcello is 9. He is very intelligent, caring and goofy. He loves playing video games and basketball. He will do anything to help around the house. He is very understating for his age and always wants to know what’s going on. He loves his late night talks with daddy; that’s their bonding time.
